The New Bear on the Block Teacher and Student Activity Guide is now available!

Local teachers and various educational consultants have helped me to create a practical compendium of classroom projects, activities, and discussion topics that can be used before, during, and after reading this book. The suggested activities in The Guide will bring the concepts in The New Bear on the Block to life in the classroom. There are also some generic lesson plan ideas for teaching tolerance to primary grade students.

Character Education is a critical component of primary grade curricula, however, these concepts are not always easy to teach. I invite educators to contact me to share their successful strategies for teaching tolerance, respect, bully-avoidance techniques, and other aspects of character education in the classroom.
